NDIS Psychology

Disability-Competent Therapy
The standard "50-minute clinic session" doesn't work for everyone
For many NDIS participants, rigid clinic structures create barriers rather than progress. A generalist service often lacks the flexibility to see the full picture, missing how a disability plays out in the home, at school, or with support workers.
At Outcomes Lab we work exclusively with NDIS participants, which means we have the structure and the experience to support complex needs effectively. We move beyond the clinic room to provide practical, collaborative care that fits your reality.

What We Deliver
Therapeutic interventions focused on capacity building.
Functional Capacity Building

We focus on skills. How to regulate emotions during a transition. How to manage executive functioning tasks in a busy house. We give participants, and their support networks, the tools to handle their world with more independence.

Neuroaffirming & Trauma-Informed

We don't try to "cure" neurodivergence. We use neuroaffirming practices to support the individual’s specific neurotype. We are deeply aware of the complex trauma histories many participants carry, whether from systemic barriers, personal life events, or their disability experience, and we adjust our approach to ensure safety and trust.

Disability-Focused Expertise

Our team works daily with Autism (Level 1-3), Intellectual Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), and psychosocial disabilities. We understand the nuance of these conditions and the NDIS context they exist in. We see how these conditions present in real life.
Mobile & Telehealth Delivery

Real change happens where life happens. Clinic-based therapy doesn't always translate to home life. We offer mobile services across Melbourne because we need to see how each person interacts with their actual environment. We collaborate directly with families and support teams to ensure strategies work at home, beyond the therapy session.
The Outcomes Lab Difference
We are 100% NDIS focused.
Many providers split their focus between Medicare clients, private patients, and the NDIS. We don't.

Our team is dedicated exclusively to the disability sector. This means our psychologists are experts in disability-specific capacity building and NDIS reporting requirements. We don't try to be everything to everyone; we stick to what we know best.
